| Ghost on the Shore is OUT NOW | 2022-02-24 | Hello ghosties, Three years ago, we began working on a new game. The idea for the core story came to our writer Dagmar Blommaert in a dream in which she had died and could only observe her partner’s immense grief from afar while they mourned, dealt with the loss and eventually moved on. We came together as a team to produce a plan for the game. This photo below is a very early series of notes from a brainstorming session we had together, on a rooftop in Ghent, back in 2019. | Dev Diary #9: Redesigning the Lighthouse | 2021-06-23 | Back in February Eline joined our ranks as an art intern, and we’ve been incredibly happy to have her with us. At last, we were able to iterate some of the areas that we developed a while back. Some of the buildings that used to be ruins are now redesigned to better reflect the architecture specific to the islands. Like our beloved lighthouse, which you may have spotted playing our demo. The player will notice the art style and gameplay first. But an immersive writing, relatable voice-over and one-of-a-kind sound design make a truly polished experience. We are lucky to have two extremely talented sound designers on board - Ward Snauwert and Dries Vienne.
