| Weapon Mods & Implant Abilities #1 - Telekinesis | 2021-05-14 | Hey everyone! Welcome to the first episode in a video mini-series exporing in detail the various weapon mods and implant abilities that Evan has access to during FORECLOSED. Implants are commonplace in the futuristic world of FORECLOSED but Evan Kapnos has a set of experimental implants that sets him apart from everyone else, granting him access to a range of unique powers and abilities. The first power we're exploring is Telekinesis, a multi-functional ability that gives Evan a flexible and dangerous edge in combat. Check out the video here! |
| Dealing with Shields | 2021-05-05 | We've seen a couple of way to increase your firepower when needed, today we're going down a similar route but a little more specific. In FORECLOSED, Evan will sometimes come up against enemies carrying a large shield. They can be tricky to take down, and continue to fire at you from around their protective wall making them a dangerous adversary. So, what can you? Sure you can utilise cover and just punch through eventually with sheer force, but there are smarter ways to fight. | When you need more firepower. | 2021-04-21 | Hey everyone! We wanted to share some combat tips with you today, to show you a couple of different options at your disposal when you need a bit of extra kick in a firefight. One option is to utilise Evan's experimental implants and to select the telekinesis power. Using telekinesis you can hurl a large object at enemies, sure to take down anyone in its path. The added bonus to this is that it also gives Evan some temporary cover, so it's a great tactical manoeuvre to turn the tide of battle! Utilising comic panels the story is delivered in a very seamless way, so the transition from action to story is very smooth and maintains a level of pace that reflects Evan Kapnos’ sense of urgency as he battles to reclaim his ID debt. There’s a few different ways that we bring the comic book aesthetic into FORECLOSED; A classic trope of comics is action words & sound effects in big and bold lettering, and we wanted to reflect that in the action sequences of the game. FORECLOSED’s main art has gone through a transformation since it’s first reveal announcement in June. During IGN’s Summer of Gaming Showcase.
