| Never Surrender! | 2020-10-06 | It's time for a price drop! As a solo indie developer the most important thing right now is getting feedback on the game and giving players a chance to enjoy everything the game has to offer. We want to keep developing the game adding more content, challenges, enemies, events and everything that makes Earth: 9000 so fun and challenging to play. The best way to do that is right now is to drop our price to a more reasonable position. What's the point in making games if your not priced attractive enough for people to give it a shot? Well, that's an easy fix. In addition to our price drop we're also dropping in some new dimensional space backdrop |

| Earth: 9000 - Achievement Unlocked! | 2020-08-21 | Achievements! 23 achievements have been added, one of the last major remaining features. Although some achievements are simple that are unlocked for playing and progressing others require some specific effort. In addition to achievements, Steam Leaderboards are now tracking kills and best waves. This is creating a little healthy competition for the community. We'll be looking at seasonal competitive stats to be reset on a monthly basis. Perhaps we can get some rewards for the winners. Some weapons have undergone improvements like Seeker Burst yielding more warheads firing over a longer period time and increased damage for Q-Carbon Driver. And |
| Earth: 9000 - Fresh Metal | 2020-08-14 | The Alien menace has unleashed their newest devastating ships to turn the tide against Earth. The Missile Boat moves slowly and fires erratically, unfortunately it's ordinance are devastating seeking warheads. Their erratic launch vectors mean they approach the Earth at odd angles complicating their destruction and defense. The Drone Carrier sprints around the Earth firing rapidly in all directions, that in itself isn't unusual trouble, but when destroyed, they release a batch of drones that clog up the battlefield, distract your seeking warheads and generally become a significant hazard. The Cruise Missile is now your adversary in the Fighte |
| Earth: 9000 - Weapons Hot! | 2020-08-12 | The Weapons Hot update add a variety of new balance changes and some quality of life fixes we've had our eye on for some time now. Although some of these changes may make the initial waves easier, it just means you get to the real meat grinder that much sooner. The key changes are allowing all Kinetic weapons to have zero ammo cost. They've been balanced to account for that and their other properties, like shots speeds, fire rates, destroying enemy projectiles or piercing enemy ships keeps them balanced amongst each other. The other major change is the inclusion of 3 new pickups that can spawn when enemies are destroyed. The Health Cannister, |
| Earth: 9000 - Lights, Camera, Explosions! | 2020-08-07 | Gameplay has never been an issue. Dynamic, deep and difficult with a familiarity that makes it click when you play. However, if it's not pretty enough to look at, who wants to dive in and find all that great gameplay. Well, finally we've updated the art of nearly everything in the game. The Alien Ships look like spaceships, instead of minimalist outlines. Enemy and player projectiles now fit with the rest of the style. Debris clouds and explosions have been improved to an incredible degree and the lighting..the lighting adds an entire new level of intensity to the action. Earth: 9000 is a visual bombardment, mechanically dynamic, very hard, a |
| Earth: 9000 - Early Access - Wave 1 Updates Complete! | 2020-08-01 | Earth: 9000 - Early Access - Wave 1 Updates Complete! We've completed our first Wave of major updates to the game with the addition of Unexpected Events. The Rogue Planet, Fighter Assault, Cruiser Ambush, Scout Barrage and BattleCruiser Onslaught have added several new layers of play. And as the name suggest, they pop up at unexpected times and can really ruin your day, or give you a much needed boost of research if you can make it through the event. Time Compression was added by suggestions from a group players who didn't want to skip waves, but wanted the option to play at a more intense rate in the early waves. Turning on Time Compression |
| Earth: 9000 - Dangerous! Time Compression | 2020-07-23 | Earth: 9000 - Dangerous! Time Compression When you flip the new Time Compression toggle switch, everything moves at twice the speed. You'll get through those waves twice as fast, but it won't be easy. Enemy shots, your shots, regen rates, you name it. Everything moves at crazy speed. Time Compression takes the overwhelming and brings it right to the edge of too hard to defeat. Notable Changes Added Time Compression Toggle Switch Fixed issues with events triggering at too high difficulty Adjusted so very deadly events won't trigger right away Time Compression brings an entire new feel to the game. Take a look at a sample of the speed here. |
| Earth: 9000 - Unexpected Events - Rogue Planet | 2020-07-22 | Earth: 9000 - Unexpected Events - Update 5 - Rogue Planet The final update for Unexpected Events - Rogue Planet Rogue Planet is the last Unexpected Event we're adding in the short term, last but not least. The alien menace has set a massive Rogue Planet adrift towards Earth. Although it has no offensive ability, massive chunks of debris break off of the Rogue Planet as you destroy it flying towards Earth. Like all the events, the deeper into the game you get, the more challenging the Rogue Planet becomes. Notable Changes Added Rogue Planet event Fixed minor vfx bugs when using ion cannons New audio for ammo and shield pickups Blockade ship sh |

Scout Barrage is simple at first but can quickly overwhelm, while Asteroid Storm pushes your defenses to the limit, with no nasty aliens to take your frustrations out on. Like all the events, the deeper into the game you get, the more challenging they become. Notable Changes Added Scout Barrage Added Asteroid Storm Added more color variation in de |

| Earth: 9000 - Unexpected Events - Update 2 | 2020-07-11 | Earth: 9000 - Unexpected Events - Update 2 - Cruiser Ambush Our second updates is small but fierce adding the new Unexpected Event - Cruiser Ambush As you play through the normal waves and defeat the alien invaders, there is an increasing chance of encountering one of these unexpected events. Akin to Boss battles, but not always focused on a single entity, more of a boss event. With two Unexpected Events setup and you won't know which you're going to get. Two won't be enough of course so more are on the way. Like the Fighter Assault, Cruiser Ambush scales in difficulty as you progress through more difficult waves. Notable Changes Added Cruise |
| Earth: 9000 - Unexpected Events - Update 1 | 2020-07-08 | Earth: 9000 - Unexpected Events - Update 1 - Fighter Assault One of our first updates focuses on creating special or unexpected events that occur to break up the gameplay in normal attack waves. As you play through the normal waves and defeat the alien invaders, there is an increasing chance of encountering one of these unexpected events. Akin to Boss battles, but not always focused on a single entity, more of a boss event. Fighter Assault difficulty scales based on how deep into the normal waves you are. So getting a Fighter Assault while you're sub wave 10 will be pretty easy, unless your resources are low. But into the higher waves, 25 and |
