Converter is now 50% off, permanently!2022-04-06Converter has turned 1 today, and you see, when a baby turns one in Bosnia its parents do not throw cute birthday parties with clowns, balloons and neighborhood Karens gifting the baby with braided bodysuits. Little pumpkin's anniversary is celebrated with swift slaughter of the cutest lambs the parents can find, after which the lambs are impaled and roasted for hours. The circle of life. Luckily, this has nothing to do with today's announcement. Converter has accomplished its main technical, creative, and financial goals, therefore the need to charge the full price isn't present anymore. From now on, the game's base price will be €4.99 ($5.9
Minor Update - January 15th2022-01-15First update in the new 2022. Happy New Year everyone! Texture and material optimization. Removal of unnecessary features has added noticeable amount of fps while preserving the aesthetics. You know that long and sometimes annoying path towards the Tower of Mason that most players need to cross twice? Well, a new crafting spot has been added at the middle of it to allow the player to craft a shortcut and avoid going through multiple barrages of blue pills every time. Oh, and crafting spots now display level and cost with a marker-type UI instead of physical text plane facing the player. Fixed the bug with character keeping the previous playth

Medium Update - World material overhaul2021-12-02Whew lads, this one improved a lot. Most world materials have been adjusted and brought to higher resolution without performance impact. Rocks are now visibly higher quality, sporting realistic blending with the rest of terrain. Surface properties have been adjusted and rocks don't have weird plastic glow while observed from distance. Soy infused rocks have realistic glowing cracks instead of previous shiny scratches. More variations of materials while synchronizing the style have made the game's aesthetics miles better. Soydoors also have new, more appropriate and sinister material. Animations have been further improved, with jumping/falling
Minor Update - November 23rd2021-11-23More realistic movement. I've noticed some complaints about the character movement feeling light and without proper momentum. This has been fixed and the movement should now be more natural. The character will feel heavier with realistic acceleration and braking. Fixed the rest of the moving textures on rocks. Leaning angle while moving next to slopes has been fixed and should feel more natural as well. EDIT: Left/right idle stance animations have been added. Character will now try to seamlessly choose his stance depending on the leg his weight was on while walking/running.
Minor Update - November 222021-11-22Foliage will now physically react to player's presence. Grass and flowers will bend, some shrubs may also even glow while in contact with our hero. Fixed a couple of rocks with moving textures

Converter V1.25 - Planet's got some weed2021-10-16Not that kind, you cheeky rascal. It's the kind of weed that grows in your garden, or on a neglected planet after three months of no major updates. Well, the V1.25 is here. -Foliage. Planet 50Y-80Y is now the proud owner of vegetation. When you have oxygen pockets you should have some simple life I guess. Foliage isn't toxic (for now) so feel free to sprint through that glowing soy shrub without consequences. -New sky and lighting. Adds a bit of a slight, but necessary punch to the game's visual style. A view of neighboring planet with its rings can now be enjoyed from the surface of 50Y-80Y. -UI visual update. Less 2010 and closer to 2021. -
Converter V1.24 - Perception Overhaul2021-07-24I felt updatey today so behold Converter V1.24, a true game changer. Perception has been harnessed to the max, giving players the ability to spot approximate skill locations easier and start figuring out how to get them. Perception will allow you to spot skills from level 1. The distance will vary depending on your Perception level, but most players will be able to get a clearer hint of some skill locations they should come back to later. Dry Spell becomes a puzzle playground and everyone will easily spot where and what to aim for. New perks: Perceptor I and II. Extend your skill perception distance with some completionist Slav magic and 100%
Minor Update - July 24th2021-07-24Improvements to movement, walking/running/sprinting should feel better with slight camera sways (not one of those intrusive, nauseous shakes some games do) New perk ability: Collect red pill orbs with red pills. You've noticed that fat, juicy orb probably containing about 20 red pills, but it's unreachable? Shoot it with a red pill and get the spoils. Red pill orbs have been "balanced" so some of the perk abilities aren't almost useless. Yes, you'll now get fewer red pills unless you got one of the Collector perks. Or the secret epic perk. Perception of 5 and above should give you slightly more range to spot the skills. Screw it, all Percepti
Converter 1.23 - Further RPGfication with Perks2021-07-01Introducing Perks, small upgrades the players can activate all over the the planet to enhance the character in different ways. Ranging from common green ones to very rare ones difficult to find, perks will increase newly included stats like the amount of red pills you get from orbs, chance of oxygen booster drops, crafting discounts, red pill fire rate and even spitting arc visibility distance. Soyospheres can now drop oxygen boosters, small orbs of oxygen that may help the players low on juice. Each Tenet will increase the total oxygen capacity by 25%. Getting perception to 5 will allow you to also see the type of skill nearby, with the usua

Minor Update June 8th2021-06-08Fine, you won. Two more manual save spots have been added to the major map branching points. This should ameliorate the returns to previous zones, and should improve the orientation. You've been basically given a Morpheus achievement exploit. Tower of Charm access should now be more reasonable for higher levels as multiple paths are now craftable in its vicinity. Sounds and particle improvements for Soyrays and Aerosoy.
Minor Update June 5th - Manual Save Point2021-06-05You asked, I sort of listened. Manual save points have been the request of a certain number of players. While speedrunners and hardcore platformer fans like the unforgiving nature of deaths in Converter, other players often needed a bit of help, mainly in the immenseness of the Dry Spell. Well, a healthy compromise have been introduced. In the middle of the Dry Spell players can now occasionally use the Manual Save Point (MSP ingame) to ensure their respawn location after dying would be at the optimal distance from the majority of puzzles in that zone. After saving the game using MSP its cooldown time is 10 minutes if you are any level of Bet
Minor Update June 2nd2021-06-02Visual and functional improvements to the aiming arc. Aiming should be more intuitive now as the aiming ark has a gradient fade helping the player estimate the distance easier. If that doesn't help, try the also added blazing red circle marking the impact location. Oxygen level now has percentage displayed next to the O2 bar. Some may say this was unnecessary, but try reaching an oxygen leak at 1% and tell me it didn't feel good living on the edge. Slight optimization and sand footstep particle color adjustment.
May 20th Update - Thick, solid and tight V1.22021-05-20Finishing touches for V1.2 are here, players may experience side effects in the form of comfy, warm feelings caused by major improvements in movement fluidity and visuals. Jumping animations now adapt to your progress and have different states. Massive terrain improvements for the desert area. Few would utter these words, but Dry Spell has never been a more charming place.
Converter V1.2 - Streamer Friendly Edition2021-05-06Exciting week at Funkyzeit Games. Newest visual and performance improvements, coupled with the previous small updates have moved the state of the game far enough to mark it as a new version. Converter is noticeably more CPU friendly due to optimization and reduction of the number of draw calls. Streaming performance should improve by quite a bit The game now runs on wider range of PC configurations, lowering the minimum requirements to almost ancient GPUs Soyospheres don't cause the slight camera glitches in some cases anymore and fade smoothly. Blue pills aren't sloppily trying to save dying soyospheres Wider, more realistic camera pitch wil
