Version 0.5.99.518 Clarity Update2021-05-18As part of our clairity push for this early version of Cosmica we figured that the tooltips could use some more work. We have made them cleaner, and revamped the card upgrade screen as well.
version 0.5.96.505 released2021-05-06In our push to provide more clairity early on in the development of Cosmica before we add more content we have revamped our Character Selection Screen and our Tutorial System. The Character Selection Screen still allows you to choose a crew of 4 characters, but now you cannot choose their sub-abilities, that will be chosen randomly. version 0.5.95.504 released2021-05-04Hello Cosmica Users, We are getting your feedback that our card descriptions could use some clairity. Luckily we stumbled across a great library for adding many extra features to text, which is going to transform Cosmica over the next month or so. Thanks so much to JujuAdams from Hyperlight Drifter fame and his amazing Scribble library for making this possible (you rock JuJu).
version 0.5.94.501 released2021-05-02Hello Cosmica players! Expect a lot of updates as Cosmica evolves towards our first one-month update. Getting some feedback from our early testers, one thing we noticed is that it can be confusing for players to know when they can play cards and when they have to discard a card for Action Points (AP). This update will highlight that by making all your cards light up if they can be played (after a card is discarded), and we also modified the colors to Green for (Play a Card) and Purple for (Discard a card). We are going to continue to focus on clairity to our card descriptions as a second part of this push for more clairity in how to use cards
Cosmica has officially released into Early Access!2021-05-01Hello Everyone, and welcome to the official release of Cosmica to Early Access! We are very excited to start this journey with you and grow our community. We have been playtesting the game, and it seems quite solid, but we are excited to get your feedback on any bugs you might find, or features you are hoping we can work on next. Our team is already working on several new card abilities for our release at the end of may as part of our first monthly release (with many to follow). We are also starting design and early coding for our major 6-month release which we will inform you more about as we continue to work on making Cosimca a more feature
