| New Level : Lacuna Airstrip | 2024-11-11 | The last stop on your mission... the Lacuna Airstrip. The Lacuna Airstrip is a industrial packaging and shipping location on the outskirts of Triton. This location was used pre invasion as a local airstrip for incoming workers and outgoing shipments of crystals and energy parcels. This was the smallest airstrip on Triton, but possibly the most strategically important one as it contains the convergence spot for all of the pipelines that run through Triton. This is where the oxygen and other vital gasses is refilled and send throughout the facility. Off course, this is where the Hivemind has nestled itself...and where you will face your toughes |

| New Level : Lacuna Forest | 2024-11-06 | The Lacuna forest has been completely consumed by the foliage and nature on Triton, and the Hivemind is taking over! This is the Lacuna forest, a mostly exterior region with some vast open spaces to explore and traverse. This region is large and very densely packed with plants and flora and has a lot of rocky and covered areas. This is where most of the technological operations happened on Triton before the brutal attack and all of the remnants are still here! This was a secondary laboratory and field clinic as well as an advanced technology operation. There was also some mining done here in the forest, and a lot of experimentation on the flo |

| New System : Full Map Interface | 2024-10-23 | Operator8 has a lot of tight and technically complex designed spaces that can be hard to navigate and get through. There are many hallways and tight interior spaces that can be difficult to navigate through, not to mention massive outside areas that can also be easy to get lost in. To me, this tight level design and complex "hardcore" navigation is a core point of the games design, having players that need to find their way through levels is at the core of how operator8 works. But, it shouldn't come at the cost of fun or functionality, and so - I've implemented a map system. Albeit a relatively basic one. This is a good compromise for the gam |

| New Features : Difficulty Modes and Level Selection | 2024-10-22 | You can now select a level to play, but only after you have completed it. If you have finished a level, you should be able to play it again, at your own leisure. With this system, you now can. Simply finish any level in the game and select it from the main menu to play it. You'll start with your saved weapons and upgrades enabled. You can now choose difficulty! There are three difficulty modes - easy, normal and hard. I might introduce an extreme difficulty at some point, but am getting feedback on the existing choices first. The idea with this is to allow people who find the game too hard or easy to have an experienced more catered to them. |

| New System : Drones | 2024-10-14 | Drones have been added to the game! These drones fly around the open areas of maps and drop ammo or vital pickups when shot down! They are easy to spot and shine with a yellow light as they fly around certain areas of the maps. They also have a yellow spotlight that illuminates the areas they fly around in. | New Enemies : Telkar Colossus And Telkar Spurt | 2024-09-03 | Two new enemies have been introduced to the brutal world of Operator8! These enemies are a completely new type of enemy and bring a new challenge with them. Although they are different, they are still linked and are very dangerous when together! These enemies are giant type enemies, which is new to the game. The first type, is the Telkar Colossus. This brute beast is a unit, simply put. This enemy will storm through to you and is capable of killing you within only a few seconds if you dont play your cardss right. What makes this enemy possible to kill however, is its limited attack, it can only attack you at close range. This enemy is armored |

This region is large and very open and has a lot of rocky and foliage covered areas. With mining activity scattered around its surface this region is one of the most hardy places on Triton! Apart from the outside areas, it does also have some large open interiors as this region is used as a storage facility for the mining fields. Previously there was no real way to see this information. Along with the the player can now also see these inventory items while in the shop menu, which helps with buying ammunition for the correct weapons and not having to guess which ones are low on ammunition.
