Major Update for June 22025-06-02Pipes This week introduces a new block, Pipes, with 10 new levels to play. These levels are moderately late in the game. Pipe blocks rapidly transfer heat around to a large fan, leading you to find ways to offload heat onto these pipes. The large fan that works to cool these new systems runs at a high cooling capacity, so use whatever you can to transfer as much heat to it as possible. It has been a while, but for those who are still playing, I hope you're enjoying what I've made, and I have started working on a third game. If you are enjoying this weird heat transfer based puzzle game, please remember to leave a review on the store page, it
Working on another game2024-04-24Sorry about the lack of updates, but I've been working on another game. Build a ship, zip, drift, and zoom around in space, and decimate other ships to collect their systems and components. Anything you find and bring back, you can keep, and everything you add to your ship upgrades or adds capabilities. Design your ship to maximize whatever you want to, in I Made Myself a Ship. Check out the store page here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2577160/I_Made_Myself_a_Ship and wishlist it if you're interested.
Major Update for January 222024-01-22Junctions This week introduces a new block, Junctions, with 10 new levels to play, right by the start of the game. The first 6 levels of this update are even in the demo, so try them out even if you haven't gotten the full game yet. Junctions connect to other wires, while also transferring heat like heatsinks, so that you can build new designs without having either get in the way. Additionally, this update contains a small client fix, where the game will reset its resolution if it tries to launch at a resolution much larger than your current monitor. Please let me know if this has any issues. Finally, I really hope everyone's enjoying the gam
Major Update for October 232023-10-23Growth This week introduces 10 new levels that grow as you complete stages. Instead of gaining budget, gain space to open up your designs in these levels, in a twist on one of the game's core mechanics. These levels show up to the right of the Heat Exchanger levels, and are only slightly farther ahead in the game. Finally, thanks for playing my game. If you like whatever amount of it you've played, I'd love to hear feedback from you. Enjoy the update!
Small patch for October 52023-10-05Added visuals for level completion while in level You can now see if you've completed a level before while playing it, as a small checkmark or star will appear beside the level name in the top left. The game will also show if you've finished the level you're on, by keeping the border of the last stage highlighted even if it's no longer complete.
Small patch for September 162023-09-16Fixed undo Undo was crashing the game because I miscounted an index, it should work in all circumstances again.
Major Update for September 112023-09-11Endgame Today's update adds 20 levels past the end of the game. If you haven't gotten that far, don't worry, they'll be there when you do. These new levels feature a new mechanic that you'll have to figure out on your own, and an extension to that mechanic once you get comfortable with it. These levels can be moderately difficult, but don't worry, I believe in you. Today's update also adds achievements for completing 12 diamond levels and getting 20 bonus stars. The levels included in today's update include quite a few bonus stars, so don't worry about having to get every last one. Yet. Finally, thank you so much for playing my game. I know i
Small patch for August 292023-08-30Fixed an achievement Fixed a bug with the achievement Out of It not being awarded for completing level 54, which is still the end of the game for about the next two weeks.
Small patch for August 112023-08-11Centering camera Pressing the Center Camera key, or pressing right stick in on controller, now has a nice little animation for recentering the board, rather than just snapping it to the center.
Small patch for August 72023-08-07Added an extra tutorial level This added level is optional, and is being added based on feedback that some parts of the game may not be clear enough to newer players. Resolution bug Some users have encountered a bug where the game becomes unresponsive if the game's resolution is set to a higher resolution than the user's monitor. This fix should stop players from accidentally choosing too high of a resolution, however if any players do encounter this bug again, please let me know. Steam Rich Presence The current level you're working on will now be displayed as your game state on your Steam Friends List.
Major Update for July 312023-07-31Heat Exchangers Heat exchangers... well... exchange heat with each other. This is a new block, including 10 new levels, that will appear at the bottom of the task list, just below processor blocks. Heat exchanger blocks all stay at the same temperature, which means that you can generate heat by one heat exchanger, and cool another one as if they were adjacent to each other. Workshop Support This update also includes workshop support. You can load custom levels into the game by dragging and dropping level files into the game, and if you can complete them, an upload button will appear in the top left to upload your level to the Steam Workshop.
Small patch for June 292023-06-29When in a level, the game client will now show the name of the current level in the top left.
Small patch for June 272023-06-27When loading a previous Sandbox, the game should properly center the camera on the center of the board. Levels will now show if they have an incomplete bonus star available.
Small patch for June 212023-06-21Moving game saves to Saved Games folder. The game will move your saves automatically on launch.
Small patch for June 212023-06-21Some players may have had issues where the game crashes when it attempts to save a file, such as settings or progress. This may happen if the game doesn't have access to your My Documents folder. If this occurs, the game will now save a copy of your progress to its own folder, however these local saves cannot be uploaded to Steam Cloud.
