New Chapter: Piggy's Story2026-10-31What's new:1. More animations for Bunny2. A new story chapter: Piggy's World3. Some bug fixes...After the last update, I was stuck in bed for days. I didn't even turn on my computer. I was so exhausted that willpower alone couldn't get my completely drained body moving, so I just lay there, very still, for a long, long time. The story is getting close to the end, and I couldn't think of anything else I wanted to say. I came up with a few story ideas, but none of them felt good enough. On top of that, I made a separate psychology game in the meantime, and most of the informational content had already gone into that one. This game already has fa
New Feature: Summon Bunnies to Do Specific Things2026-09-28Updated the visuals for the flower tea.Added some effects when harvesting certain plants.Added a new UI to the top bar that lets you directly summon a bunny to do a specific activity.Fixed some more bugs.I'm really happy that you guys enjoy the clothes-designing part~~ I like it a lot too~As for the next story, it will probably also be the final story.I still haven't figured out a way for the little pig and the island to interact that I'm happy with. I've come up with several versions, but I wasn't satisfied with any of them, so I'm still thinking it over again and again.I haven't had much inspiration lately, so for now I've just been working
You Can Design Clothes for the Bunnies Now2026-09-25New FeaturesI added achievements to the tutorial too.Improved some animations. Part of the bunny walking animation is actually a little Easter egg — sometimes they hop forward instead. You can now design new clothes for the bunnies. For now, only one outfit set is available. I want to see how everyone feels about this feature first.Fixed some bugs... I’ve discovered that bugs are apparently impossible to finish fixing forever...Design ThoughtsOriginally, I was planning to make a playroom for the little bunnies. I had already designed about half of the props. Then I suddenly thought... maybe that wouldn’t actually be the most fun thing to make.A
New Player Interactive Tutorial Added2026-09-21New FeaturesAdded an interactive tutorial for new players.Made some small changes to the storybook, added a few new illustrations, and added a new letter.1. Some Data from the SaleThere were no new players. The only player who bought the game refunded it.This time, the discount wasn't very large, so I thought anyone who bought the game would probably be genuinely interested in it, rather than buying it just because it was super cheap.I waited for a very, very long time before finally getting one purchase. And then they refunded it after playing for less than 20 minutes.(ToT)/~~~ So sad. I worked so hard, and the world still doesn't understand m
New: Wheat's Brunch Shop2026-09-13About Bunny SpeechI'm so happy you like the new bunny speech feature~I've improved the speech UI again. Maybe I'll polish it a little more in the future if I have time.I hope future players can open the game, spend around two happy hours here—about the length of a movie—and occasionally remember the cute little bunnies afterward. Some Thoughts About Game DesignA few days ago, I saw someone comment on an indie game:"The developer cared too much about self-expression, and forgot to make the game fun."I stared at that for quite a while. It made a lot of sense. And I realized I may have made the same mistake.Of course, noticing a problem doesn't me
New Feature: The Bunnies Can Talk!2026-09-08It feels a little like a long goodbye.December is getting closer, and I’ve been feeling a little sad.I was planning to write more story content. But while writing, I suddenly realized...The game really is going to end.Once I stop updating certain parts of the game, they may stay that way forever. So I went back to check some of the item systems and their gameplay logic. And I discovered that these three things were barely being used at all:Wheat (Flour)Flower Tea (Tea Leaves)GrapesSo I quickly started designing some uses for them, so the little bunnies could finally enjoy the things they grow themselves. So you probably thought this was going t
UI Improvements, Better Trains, No new features — no need to open the game.2026-08-31A small update focused on UI improvements and making the little train more useful. If you've already played the game, you don't need to open it just for this update. New Firework Night & A New Storybook Index2026-08-14★ Visual Improvements1. Improved Bunny and Pig firework effects.2. Added a beautiful new firework night.3. Added a lovely outer ring around the island during the daytime.★ Feature Improvements1. The Storybook now has an index, so you can jump directly to any chapter.2. Existing players don't need to open the game for this update.I originally planned to finish the new story for this update, but I wasn't happy with the wooden block character story I was working on, so I cancelled it and

New Story, Steam Achievements, Cloud Saves, New Artwork, and Letters2026-07-23A Quick Recap for New PlayersThis game has been in development for several years. The player base has always been very small, and constantly fighting bugs has become exhausting, so I have decided to begin wrapping up development.Even though I am wrapping things up, the game probably will not be finished until November or December. I will continue fixing bugs and do my best to complete the remaining stories. If you find any bugs or have suggestions about the story, please let me know. Your feedback would be incredibly helpful~1. Thank You for Your FeedbackSometimes I feel a little discouraged, but then I see an enthusiastic response from a play

Huge Discount + Big Update! Would Love Your Feedback2026-05-11The game is currently at one of its biggest discounts ever.Recently I added a new Story system — it's a pretty major update, and I'd really love to hear what you think after trying it.I know many discounted games end up sitting quietly in our Steam libraries forever… But if you do give it a try, any feedback, suggestions, or even complaints would genuinely help shape future updates. Thanks so much, and I hope you enjoy the game.
Lots of new hand-drawn art + visitors arriving on the island2026-05-08New Features1. Lots of new hand-drawn art + visitors arriving on the islandI added a lot of hand-drawn illustrations. Fixed some bugs. No new features — no need to open the game.2026-03-171) Thank you for your messagesI’m really happy that you enjoy what I write. Sometimes I imagine a timeline where I make a living just by writing.I saw many of you like the Bunny chasing game. I even read your comments a few times, and once again before sleep. It made me very happy. When a developer’s effort is seen and loved by players, it creates a very good positive cycle. But this kind of ideal situation is actually rare. Making a fun game is really hard.Looking back at my notes, I actually made many other features. Some took months of effort, and in the end they were removed… and no one noticed at all. This happens to many developers. Some
Bunnies Can Play Tag Game2026-03-081. Even if the island has nothing on it, the Bunnies can still have fun. They may run around and chase each other to play. It took me about two months to finally figure out how to make this work.2. Time can now be accelerated up to 15×.3. The Bunny mail system is back.4. More beautiful background music has been added.5. The Add/Del Bunny option has been moved to the Bunny job selection panel. The biggest change in this update is the Bunny chase game system, which took a very, very long time to rebuild.I really didn’t expect this change to take almost two months. In the past, most features had very clear requirements. But for the group chase ga
Pig’s House Is Back (Pig Will Follow… Someday)2026-01-09Pig’s house is back.Pig herself is not—yet. She’ll need a bit more time while I rewrite her AI.The new Pig house is back in the world, and I really like it.If you remember the old model, this one feels much more like a home. I can easily imagine Pig living inside, hopping around happily, with Bunnies coming over to visit and play.⸻About ArtMaking my own 3D models is slow, but important buildings need to be original.I looked through asset stores, and while those models are fine as background props, they all share familiar styles. Once a character has personality and preferences, their environment needs to reflect that.Bunny houses are square a
A Slightly Bigger World: Three islands.2025-12-31Big changes first. The island has multiplied. There are now three islands. The wandering chickens are back. They are once again doing what they do best: wandering everywhere.Adding bunnies has been moved to the debug settings in the top-right corner. For now, it’s still simple—just drag and add bunnies freely.Small Fixes• When placing items, the game now shows whether the placement area is fully on the island.• Bunny driving is back. Yes, they can drive again.• And many other small bugs were fixed. They were important, but not very interesting, so I’ll skip the details. There used to be a bug where the game only checked whether your mouse was on
Small Update: Mushroom and Grape VFX Changes2025-12-19I rewrote the VFX for grapes and mushrooms. They used to be shader-based; now they’re done with VFX. I think the way the grape vines grow upward looks pretty nice. I watched it many times. Also fixed some bugs that were completely unexpected. After the previous version was released, I discovered that the old shader animations had stopped working. No errors, no warnings—they just didn’t play at all. This affected the mushroom and grape effects.I tried to fix it, but since there were absolutely no error messages, and the shader effects worked perfectly inside the Unity editor (they only failed in the exported build), I couldn’t track down the cau
Behold, 1000 Bunnies!!2025-12-03Feature UpdatesThe island can now host one thousand Bunnies. Just open the Invite panel and drag the slider. No conditions. No quests. Just… Bunnies. A lot of them. I still don’t know what players’ computers will do with this. If most machines explode, I’ll cap it back to 100. On my computer, one thousand Bunnies runs at 60–70 fps. Added a visual debug panel. The pig, bird, and some items are temporarily removed. They may return someday if they behave. This update is a massive rewrite using ECS.Please report bugs or ideas. It will genuinely help.If 1000 Bunnies melt everyone’s PC, I’ll dial it back.Thank you!The Unnecessarily Long Dev Diary Th
Dev Diary: Learned Jobs, Lost Frames, Gained Wisdom2025-05-25Tried rewriting with Unity’s Job System, but because the data set was small, it ended up slower, so I rolled everything back. In short: no actual changes. ⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻ Recently, I heard about Unity’s new multithreaded system: Jobs + Entities, supposedly offering speed boosts of 10x, even up to 200x. I had no idea what it was, but it looked really complicated. I asked an AI how long it’d take to learn. It said “half a year,” and I panicked — thought it was going to be math-class levels of pain. I hesitated for a long time, mentally preparing myself, before I started. And of course… turns out the AI was confidently lying again. It didn’t take near
Game Update: Bunny Optimization + Mesh Merge2025-05-20No need to open if you're an old player — no gameplay changes. I've refactored part of the bunny code and merged their meshes to improve performance. ------------------------------ I reduced the number of skinned meshes, and the game runs faster now. It was a painful and tedious process, but I did learn some new things. Maybe the next game will be better because of it. I’m honestly afraid all three of my games will get the same kind of comments — that would make it seem like I haven’t improved at all over the years. ------------------------------ Performance Stats Before (initial version): • Visible skinned meshes: 298 • Animator components p
Minor Performance Improvement Converted bone animation to vertex animation2025-05-16Lately, I’ve been working on improving performance. The game had too many bone animations, which really slowed things down. One of the biggest culprits was the large blooming tree. I rewrote the flower animation using shaders and vertex animation instead of bones—each petal now rotates around its axis via math, not rigging. It runs much faster now and even has fewer vertices! But then came the pain: After spending forever on the math, I imported it from Blender to Unity… and everything broke. Blender uses Z-up, Unity uses Y-up. Local axes flipped. My flower animation exploded. Petals stretched wildly due to bad vertex data. I almost cried 😭
Cocoa trees now have particle effects! 🦋🍃 fixed some bugs2025-05-13---------------------------------- Bug Fixes: Fixed WASD controls (left/right were reversed). Fixed confusing drag interactions. Cocoa trees now have particle effects! 🦋🍃 There are butterflies and gently moving leaves. Bunny work time now has a minimum of 4 hours (was 0). If a bunny finishes early (e.g., all crops harvested), it’ll now help others. Such helpful bunnies! 🐰💼 ---------------------------------- Note: If you’re a returning player, there’s not much change besides the cocoa tree animation. ---------------------------------- 💬 Dev Notes Hi again! I'm back with an update—you probably didn’t expect that! I’ve been thinking about t
Small updates: UI and input method code refactored.2025-02-18Old players don’t need to update—there’s not much difference. Minor VFX tweaks: plants now shrink and disappear when the bunny walks through fields and flower beds. Major rewrite of the input method code. The old version was a messy pile from early development. It took a lot of effort to clean up and rebuild properly. Think of it as replacing a house made of glue and mud with one built from wood and concrete—without collapsing any rooms in the process. These changes may not feel significant to players, but clean code means better long-term maintenance. Meanwhile, I’m already thinking about my third game… The first was this farming game, the s
