| More Accessibility settings | 2025-02-12 | There have been requests for more options to disable some of the more intense visual effects in the game, sooo you can now toggle: - Impact particles - Screen flashes - And you can adjust the Screen Shake intensity I have also added a new achievement for breaking the game by yeeting yourself out of the bounds of the map using the broken physics of the hanging cages (or if you find a different way to get the achievement, good job! That also counts ^^) ...also there might be some big event happening when we reach 100 reviews, but I don't wanna spoil the surprise :P (Also holyyy whatttt we are almost at 100 reviews?!?! how?! | Fixing more stuff | 2025-01-02 | - FOV Slider has been added to the settings - The Twin Skull boss should no longer have the shield up for forever after killing the other skull - Also, did you notice how large is that guy's sword?! But then again size may be deceiving.... (this is a hint for killing the Lingering Though a bit faster, you just have to look where you might not wanna usually look, or maybe you do? idk, I don't know you... I would look :P ) |
| Fixing some stuff | 2024-12-02 | Hopefully these things are fixed now: (if not scream at me and I will try to do better next time :p) Increased size of weak points on teleporting enemies (now they can actually be hit!) Ending achievement should now be given to you when you complete the game Fixed the bug with the missing life sacrifice card in story levels Changed / reworked Twin Skull boss behavior Your save game is no longer deleted after beating the game (sorry for including this in the first place qwq) Added "End Run" button into the ESC menu Shotgun pickup in intro can not be abandoned |
| Thank you for playing ROSE! | 2024-11-27 | Wow, It's been just a week since the launch and ROSE is already my most downloaded game/thing!! Thank you so much!!! I know there are still issues with the game (a lot of them), but please be patient, I have a ton of work (working on 3 to 4 games rn), so I might be a little slow when it comes to updating ROSE. I wasn't expecting this game to gain any traction whatsoever, but now that I see that a lot of people are playing it and enjoying it, I know I must make it a better experience for you. | ROSE just launched! | 2024-11-18 | So this is it! The full version of ROSE is finally live! Wohoo! Ok, but what is actually in the game? There are 5 playable regions, each has a custom final boss. Overall there are 60 maps, including bonus arenas and story levels. There are 6 weapons that can be upgraded and over 20 custom boosts. The game is now playable from start to finish and features a story that slowly unravels as you progress. Will there be any updates? I will still be posting bug fixes and addressing major issues with the game, but I will no longer actively work on adding content or making big changes to the game. What about the demo? | ROSE DEMO | 2024-09-08 | Hey, it has been way too long since I posted any updates to ROSE, so here we go with some big news! There is a new Demo that has replaced the playtesting build. To participate in the Beta, simply head to Rose's Steam page and join the Beta in the Join the Rose Playtest section. WHAT IS IN THE BETA VERSION? The Beta is completely free and at this moment features only a small portion of the game (limited selection of weapons, abilities, enemies and maps). HOW TO SUBMIT FEEDBACK?
