| Patch 1.2.7 | 2026-10-08 | Recent player feedback has been suggesting a wide gap between the first zone bosses and Horizon at zone 4, even after his previous nerf in the endless update. So I decided to do a new audit of all zone bosses to try and smooth their difficulty curve a bit more across all 4 zones. The changes are mostly intended to nerf Horizon to bring him down while retaining his encounter identity, and then buff the previous zone bosses a bit, especially to help their identities come out before they die.Since endless runs are clearly where the hardest content in the game lives, you can still face harder versions of everyone there.Zone Boss ChangesEdict phase |
| Patch 1.2.6 | 2026-10-03 | Endless ChangesThe progression in endless runs was compressed to now being able to fight Terminus at map 13 (from 16), and the difficulty cap now being at map 25 (from 32). The entire difficulty curve was compressed to meet this new progression. The way this works is that now there is only 2 maps between zone bosses after the first one, meaning that you fight the first zone boss at map 4 as always, but then the next ones are at maps 7, 10, 13 and so on.Previously a lot of players reached the point of having a very strong team much faster than the enemies were becoming more difficult, so you often reached the min maxing stage much earlier than |

| Patch 1.2.5 | 2026-08-26 | Endless ChangesThe Zone Level Multiplier in endless runs now starts scaling much faster after zone 4, but it still has the same cap at map 32. This is intended to have a more distinct separation between the early, mid and late parts of the progression curve in an endless run:Zones 1-4 serve as the early part of the run where you should have plenty of time to build a starting team.Zones 5-16 serve as the middle part of the run where the difficulty starts ramping much faster and your team really starts to get tested. Notably, you now reach zone 16 with a 400% multiplier (from 270%), and this is still the earliest zone where you can fight the un |
| Patch 1.2.4 | 2026-08-18 | Endless Runs ChangesWe want to have a difficulty cap in endless runs to serve as a benchmark for your teams and a good stopping point if you only care about beating the content. The thing is that some players want to keep going after that to min max their teams, but we felt the difficulty cap didn't provide enough increase in difficulty for those players.Nerfing player power across the board in order to make the difficulty cap harder would make things too hard for new players, but we also didn't want to just make the difficulty cap harder without giving enough time for players to prepare their teams for the added difficulty, so we knew we had |
| Patch 1.2.3 | 2026-08-13 | ChangesItems and spells in the collection now show their quality upgrades. All maps now have 1 less normal combat and 1 more superior combat. Besides the additional difficulty, this also gives the first map more interesting navigation decisions and buffs how many consumables from superior combats you can get per map.The mastery trait Mind now grants 30% Skill Resistance on its first bonus (from 20%). This means that the first bonus of Mind is no longer a downgrade when compared to Preparation, which is the base trait Mind replaces with its mastery. The quality upgrades for the Power Conduit spell now grant a base Inspiration amount of 1 / 2 / 3 |
| Patch 1.2.2 | 2026-08-12 | ChangesThe Bonfire Navigation mastery now requires getting a team of 7 characters instead of 9. This allows to unlock the mastery before endless runs again. The Zone Boss in the Horizon Paths was still blocking many players from unlocking endless runs. Now the phase 2 of the boss has about -10% Maximum Health, -20% Total Resistances, -20% Attack Damage and -15% Skill Damage, but their Convergence trigger skill now grants 40% Maximum Health and Heal to allies on death instead of 30%. This should allow more players to win the fight directly, but it also makes it easier to kill at least one enemy in that phase to start gaining progress through th |
| Patch 1.2.1 | 2026-08-08 | This patch mainly touches on the balance of endless runs, since it seems we missed the mark on that and they were much easier than intended, especially the final boss. Since the intention is that these are the hardest content in the game, we want to provide a tough challenge that requires very good teams to beat.ChangesThe new Zone Boss in endless runs was completely rebalanced to be a lot more challenging, with a focus on increasing his defences by a lot and reducing his energy costs a bit. The intention is to allow the boss to last for longer and use more skills to actually challenge your teams. The Zone Level Multiplier now scales higher fr |

| Patch 1.1.8 | 2026-04-17 | Zone 4 Boss ChangesWe've been getting more player feedback about the last boss of the game being too difficult still, even after the previous nerfs in balance patches before the 1.1 update. As this is currently the last boss of the game, we do want for it to be challenging, but we've identified a specific improvement for this fight thanks to recent feedback, which is how hard it is to gain progress between lost combat rounds. To improve the balance of the boss we've done the following changes:Phase 2 enemies now have 30% less Maximum Health.Phase 2 enemies have a new "Convergence" skill, which triggers when they die to grant 30% of their Maxim |

This notably increases how fast the Hippie deals damage.Pico's Rampage buff now granst him 5 Attack Damage per stack (previously 10), but he now gains Rampage stacks based on 3% Skill Power (previously 2%). This greatly lowers the Attack Damage he gained on the top end, while just lowering the base by a bit.Characters at the front columns now st |
| Patch 1.0.7 | 2026-02-16 | Hi, this patch brings a new feature to command your characters to target specific enemies. To us, the main way for players to control their characters in combat should be positioning, but we know that some players want a more precise level of control, so we're now introducing "player commands".Player CommandsYou'll now be able to find 2 new passive spells, one common and one rare. These new spells will serve as the main way to gain player commands during an exploration, but we intend to keep adding more support for this feature in the future.Once you have player commands available, you'll be able to spend them during combats to first select o |
| Patch 1.0.6 | 2026-02-13 | Hi, with this patch we wanted to add one of the features we were talking about previously and improve how the game communicates a couple of other features that already exists, but many players were missing or misunderstanding.Flee from CombatWe are adding the ability to flee from a combat, but it was important for us to make sure it didn't break the current flow of exploring maps, or provide a way to simply skip combats entirely.Fleeing from combats is meant to be an option for players to avoid a combat if their current team is not well equipped to handle it, which often resulted in too much Life loss, outright losing the run or ending very v |
| Patch 1.0.5 | 2026-02-12 | Hi, in today's patch we wanted to address a couple issues. One was that boss chests were the same as normal ones, and the other was that you could find the same rewards after a reroll.Another thing we wanted to keep improving was the balance of the zone boss 4. We want that combat to be a step up in challenge compared to the rest of the game since it's the final encounter in the current version of the game. But we also want a healthy variety of builds being able to win, especially against the base version of the boss.ChangesBoss chests now have different visuals and they always reward at least uncommon items.Rerolls now guarantee that you'll |
| Patch 1.0.4 | 2026-02-10 | Today's patch comes with a few more fixes to game crashing bugs and a new combat speed feature to help with super long combats that even at double speed drag for too long.ChangesCombats that last for 60+ seconds can now be played at triple speed. This should mitigate the real time it takes for combats that go for hundreds of even more than a thousand seconds, which is usually due to having 2 super tanks fighting each other. The Undertaker now has 30 base Attack Damage (from 20). This should prevent him from losing the early 1v1s.The "abandon" button in the pause menu has been renamed to "exit" to avoid players from thinking that their runs wil |
