We couldn’t work much on the games because of health issues that kept going back and forth between me and Estu. Thankfully, we’re both feeling better now and slowly getting back into development.Even so, we still managed to push an update for the Cats Around Us: Yarn Ball demo so we could join Steam Next Fest. | July Update | 2026-07-31 | Hi everyone!First of all, we want to apologize because Cats and Seek: Zoo didn't make it out on its previously scheduled release date.As we mentioned last month, UB ran into an issue with the final build submitted for Steam review that unfortunately couldn't be fixed in time for the scheduled release. We're really sorry for the delay.The good news is the build has now been fixed and is currently being resubmitted to Steam for review! The new release date is scheduled for late August 2026. Hopefully everything goes smoothly this time and we'll all get to play it soon :DStill on the topic of Cats and Seek: Zoo, we want to give a huge thank you |

| Next "Cats Around Us" Title! | 2026-01-05 | Hi everyone! (coincidentally) just like last year ^^ this January, we're thrilled to announce the next title in the Cats Around Us series: Yarn Ball! Yarn Ball is our super fun collab with our local comic artist, Hassari Clara (ikanoren) :D It tells the story of Hani, who's hunting for her knitting tools. Suddenly, her adorable calico cat Ika spots the yarn ball and pounces! The yarn ball rolls all over the place, with Ika chasing it around the house in the cutest chaos! | Steam Deck touch screen fix | 2025-09-16 | Thanks a ton to Bridgetmini for reporting the navigation issue on the Steam Deck touchscreen Touchscreen navigation is now much smoother. Dedicated jigsaw puzzle rotate button added (right-click for mouse, R1-L1 for Steam Deck/gamepad). After multiple tests, it turns out my game engine can’t detect touch positions on Steam Deck’s touchscreen, so slide-based features like sliders and drag-and-drop jigsaw puzzles won’t work with it. I tested on other touchscreen devices, and they work fine, so this is definitely a limitation of the engine for Steam Deck. Sorry for the inconvenience.. for now, I recommend using a gamepad for drag-and-drop action |

We didn’t have the budget to translate everything properly, and machine translation just made things super weird. 😂 A bunch of you suggested letting the community help, and honestly, that’s an awesome idea! Cats and Seek: Tokyo As of today, 4 levels are ready to play! You can explore Asakusa, Akihabara, Ueno Park, and Shibuya. Estu is currently working on the final level, making a total of 5 levels in Cats and Seek: Tokyo.
