| One month later - Roadmap | 2026-04-27 | It has already been a month since release ? Zang.Was planning on making more bugfix patches but like, there seems to not be many of them ? This is not how a game release is supposed to go but hey, not gonna hear me complain. Instead, let's talk about the future, a lil roadmap-type thing.Quality of life: Mostly for pacing's sake, it is possible to get stuck in some places longer than intended, and clearing up minor jank. Adding save states to clear up significant progress loss on specific sequences.Accessibility: Most of it will be grouped in a single patch, adding options for epileptic users, that sorta stuff.NG+: Small features to facilitate |

Open mindedness and vulnerability really go a long way.Impressively enough, there weren't any game breaking bugs on release, so that's cool. | REGULAR UPDATE - EXTRAS AND BUGFIXES | 2025-11-24 | BUTLER GUILLOTINE'S DEMO HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH EXTRAS, AND QOLA month later, and the demo has exceeded 1000 downloads ! That's sick af. Features:A new extras page in the demo.A vintage vinyl player, with access to all public domain songs I'm using, as well as whatever research I was able to scrounge up.QOL and bugfixes:Saves now work properly and won't reset.You can no longer glimpse into the backstages at the start of each gameplay sequence.Some audio balancing and optimization.Expect a more precise release date early next year, that would be cool. |
