| Halloween is coming once again to Eternal Step | 2016-10-05 | Oct 17th will see the return of Jack O Lantern our Halloween boss. You only have the chance to fight this boss during the Halloween seasons so make sure you fight him to get his rare monster card. Otherwise, you will have to wait till next year! From our last update with the new boss who is on floor 80! So for anyone who has gone past floor 80 if you go back to level 79 checkpoint and enter the room the boss should spawn for you. for anyone who hasn't got there yet he will just spawn as if nothing has changed. We are working towards a much bigger update which we are trying to aim for around Christmas time. So enjoy the new boss and for anyone |

New New boss Tyrfing on floor 80 Adjustments Firin shield now charges 50% faster and shoots twice as long. Sorry for the lack of updates in the last bajillion years. (Roughly.) We decided to release the boss separately instead of in a big patch planned just to show that we are indeed alive and still working on the game. I have been unable to work full time on the game for the past five months or so after needing to get a different job to support myself. | Early work on Steam achivements and Scoreboards | 2016-07-05 | We are working on the next update to Eternal Step as I have posted before. This update is most likely going to be the biggest update we have done so far to the game and this is why its taking a while, also we both have day jobs now so its slowed it down. However we have started looking at Steam achivements and Leaderboards, we had wanted to put these in for some time, however the engine we use does not make it easy to do this without some serious coding and time. However a update has been done which should make this easier. So with the next update we should be able to put in achivements and leaderboards, along with a ton of other stuff. We wi |

We have always agreed to be upfront with any community we have. The reason has been really for Paul to secure some more stable work. We where running on empty up to the release of Eternal Step and we have had to pause while Paul can feed himself. So now this has been done YAY. We are back with what to expect going forward. We belive Eternal Step is in a much better place now then at launch and that has been though people like yourself giving us feedback and from us wanting to push content out. | Eternal step minor fix update. | 2016-03-11 | Hi sorry for no new content in this patch I have had to work on other things to get money for living. instead this update is for minor fixes (one major) and balancing. 1. Hidden the shield descriptions until you actually get them now (noticed on Indelacio's lets play video.) 2. New shields and armours could be unselectable for certain people. This is because of some old code I got ready for the pages but didn't have the new custom controls code in place. (also spotted by Indelacio.) 3. adjusted hitboxes on certain moves that looked like they didn't hit me but did. All these are smaller so nothing has been made bigger: Imp fireball Golem back |

| Patch 2.25 hotfix | 2016-02-19 | Fixed two issues found and reported by people on the forums. 1.Fixed the second page of armours and shields not saving right from the loot menu that Dendrago said about but I thought it was something else so Vporo had to confirm. 2.Added new movement to wisps in walls to stop them possibly getting stuck in the walls after Silk was unable to progress due to evil wisp hiding. |

We just wanted to let you know we have some things planned and another update coming soon! We plan to add some more shields hopefully by next friday. You can take a peak of these below. Hopefully these will help aid in your climb. We just wanted to let you know we have some things planned and another update coming soon! We plan to add some more shields hopefully by next friday. You can take a peak of these below. | Eternal Step patch - Version 1.2 update | 2016-01-15 | So we start this year with more Loot as Eternal Step see's its first update in 2016. Our main goal at the moment is to boost the levels of loot to be roughly the same as swords ( 2 pages worth basicly). this will then pave the way for some of the bigger updates outlined in our 2016 roadmap. Which if you havent read do so now and get hyped for more hard content. The christmass boss as far as me and Paul could see was not defeated and you now will have to wait till christmas 2016 before fighting him again. So without any more delay the updates. The myth is that a monster lives inside the gifts, and if you are bad it will come out, grab you and pull you into present to be lost forever. Well at least Christmas is coming, the 18th will see a new boss enter the tower and much like our halloween boss hes out to kill you all. So get ready for more details closer to the 18th. As with the Halloween boss he will only be around for a certain amount of time, then you will have to wait till next christmas before he returns. So if you want to collect his monster card make sure to join us during the holidays. You may want to brush up on your christmas carols to help spawn this boss. Until then! |
