| Big changes to our little game | 2023-08-03 | Changes include: Ghost chase - players can no longer run from ghosts, but instead, we place the player in an optimal position to take on aggressive entities. Flashlight mechanic - the flashlight no longer has a single battery and can be used for as long as needed. The UV feature of the light is now activated and runs out of energy quickly but regenerates energy quickly too. Enhanced enemies and visuals - new ghost models, furniture, props, etc. We hope you like the new look! Story changes - no significant changes to the story but some dialogue and note tweaks. We feel it tells a more cohesive story. Have fun in the manor, and don't get caught |
| CURSE update! | 2018-05-29 | CURSE has been updated to Unity 2017 which is a more efficient rendering engine. We also did a somewhat extensive overhaul of the game to soften up the rough edges a bit. The overhaul includes a new achievement as well! See the bullet points below for a list of changes to the game. Game Changes: Graphics and audio update: Unity engine 2017 conversion increases fidelity and performance. We also improved some of the old visuals and audio and added some new ones. Removed the ‘walk-back’ feature in most areas: In order to tighten up the gameplay we removed the walk back to the origin point aspect of movement and replaced it with a teleport. Movem |

This is a Halloween enhanced edition of Curse that is NOT DLC but instead a replacement for the standard version that is only available from now until November 1st. You can now change the difficulty in the middle of a game. Added controller support (key mapping and look sensitivity is coming soon): Look around Right Stick Interact / Run from the Ghosts Right Trigger or A Button Flashlight Left Trigger or X Button Backpack B Button Main Menu Start Fixed: The game will now regain focus when using Alt+Tab. Fixed: Quitting out of a game and then starting a new game will no longer cause visibility issues. |
