Ourself is out now: cutting the ribbon takes two2026-10-29In Ourself, even cutting a ribbon takes two: the blue hand grips one ring of the scissors, the red hand grips the other, and those hands belong to two different people. Ourself is out now on Steam, and it's 15% off for the first two weeks. Two players. One body. No chance of agreeing. Every obstacle takes the two of you in perfect sync. Campaign: 36 checkpoints on a 400 m climb through The Sky Kingdom. Time Trial: no checkpoints, no saves, no way back.

No chance of agreeing. Ourself is an online co-op platformer for two people sharing one character. An evil sorcerer pulled one friend's soul out and put it inside the other, and the body has listened to you both ever since. Nobody walks ahead alone: head in different directions and it shuffles on the spot and goes down. Most of it happens out loud. Counting to three before a jump. Arguing about which ledge. Then the run where you go quiet, because you can feel where your partner is going before they sa
