| Definitive Edition - FAQ | 2026-10-28 | What's the difference from the old version? The short answer: The Definitive Edition is the whole Dream Machine story, finally complete. It's painstakingly rebuilt from scratch in a new engine, all chapters come in one package, and the back-half has been reworked. The longer answer: The original came out in episodes between 2010 and 2017. It was built in Flash. For the Definitive Edition we've rebuilt the whole game from the ground up in a modern engine. The six original chapters are all included. The back-half has been reworked in order to give the story the answers and closure the old ending never did.• Controller and Steam Deck support: Play |
